What kind of hotend will be compatible with this extruder?

I bought an ORDBOT Hadron a while ago, and this is the extruder it came with: https://3dtek.xyz/collections/3d-printing/products/generic-all-in-one-extruder-and-hot-end I'd like to try different nozzle sizes, but I have no idea what to get that will fit this extruder. Does anyone have any information that might help? submitted by /u/Excrubulent [link] [comments] from 3D printing news https://ift.tt/2Riyc9X via RSS

First time poster here, I have seen lots of people upgrading their control boards recently and I am just wondering what the appeal to the more expensive systems are? I am using a ramps 1.4 and polulu drivers on my own core xy design, up until it died last night. I suspect it died because of human error (I was …Continue reading →

I made some creepy glowing eyes Halloween decorations.

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3133148/files I loved the look of the toilet paper halloween decorations, and decided to make a 3d printed version that uses xmas light strings. https://www.kellyelko.com/i-always-feel-like-somebodys-watching-me-glowing-eyes/ These, while nice, tend to look cheap and I hate glowsticks because they dont last very long. Plug in the LED xmas lights, and boom, they will last as long as you have power to …Continue reading →

Cura VS IdeaMaker

I haven't gotten to the point of paying for Simplify 3D yet… but i'm curious to see what else is out there other than Cura. I feel like Cura is reducing the quality of some of my prints, but it's what i'm more comfortable with. Is there anyone out there that swears by IdeaMaker? submitted by /u/mattmccaleb189 [link] …Continue reading →

Gulfcoast Robotics 24V heated bed + Thermistor

Hello, Recently started replacing all the guts of my printer and purchased this heated bed. My confusion came when it was time to hook up the thermistor wiring, it has 5v, GND and SIG. Their docs indicate in marlin its a #11 sensor for NTC 3950. They also show there is a resistor between the GND and SIG. My board …Continue reading →
