MakerBot 3D printers help KUKA develop smart factory robotic arms

German robotics and automation company KUKA is using MakerBot 3D printers to make customized end-use “hands” and other parts for its six-axis robotic arm systems. OMNI3D releases new CF-PA-12 carbon fiber 3D printing filament

Polish 3D printing company OMNI3D has released its latest 3D printing filament for FDM/FFF printers. Called CF-PA-12, the new material is a polyamide 12 composite plastic reinforced with carbon fibers.
